Susan is an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) as well as a Licensed Clinical Counselor (LPC).
The ACS credential is awarded from the National Center for Credentialing and Education or CCE and is offered through the University of North Carolina at Greensboro Graduate Department of Counseling and Educational Development.
The ATR-BC is the highest level of National Credentialing for Art Therapy and is awarded by the Art Therapy Credentials Board or ATCB.

I have worked in private practice since 1997 in conjunction with group programs and in hospital settings. I have managed expressive therapy treatment teams and been a member of many clinical teams.
Supervision will address your specific clinical setting, developing counseling and art therapy practices that meet the needs of clients you are serving.
Supervision will include discussions around the use of assessments, treatment planning, diagnosis, self-care practices, professional identity, transference and counter-transference and how this informs the therapy process, and art therapy interventions
